Hayden Kho is not a saint, but he has changed!
Not too long ago, our newspapers
and Radio/TV news broadcasts were peppered with Hayden Kho’s sexual videotaped
affairs. Local entertainment reporters
were in frenzy over the scandalous news of Hayden Kho. Even the Senators, Congressmen, who up to now
I never really understood their stance on the matter, joined in the fray, since
it was free publicity for them.
International issues were being
overshadowed with Hayden Kho’s issues. He was the enemy of women, and a hero
for many Alpha male.
When the boiling outrage of the
public simmered down, Hayden took it easy. He dropped off the showbiz radar,
and did some soul searching. He was figuratively beaten black and blues because
of his escapades. We, the public, gave him hell.
After a long period of sabbatical
absence, Hayden is now emerging from his ashes. Not as a television personality
buy a messenger of Christ. He is now a born-again Christian, a disciple of
Christ Commission Fellowship senior pastor, Pastor Peter Tan-chi, and also by
the distinguished Ravi Zacharias.
Many do not know this, but
Christians are not perfect human beings. Christians are as frail as any other
person when faced with temptation.
One thing is sure that, Christians
know and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. They know the miracle the Holy
Spirit does once a person accepts Him.
In church, that is what you see
in Hayden Kho, and not his former self, filled with pride and arrogance. One
time, Hayden Kho was able to draw more than one hundred people to church to
listen to the Word of Christ. Perhaps, he wanted people to know what he learned
from the bible and how it benefitted him.
Being a born-again Christian, a lot
of changes is seen in Hayden. These changes are spiritual traits that grow in a
person once he/she accepts the Holy Spirit of God. (Gal. 5:22)
There are articles in newspapers
circulating around pertaining to Hayden Kho’s transformation. Many are proud of
his new mission in life, while there are still a large number of people who
does not accept his conversion. These folks would rather see the old Hayden who
he was and not what he is now. I am optimistic though, that Hayden’s
unbelievers will one day see what he saw in the Holy Spirit.
I believe that someday soon that
Hayden will give a testimony of his experiences in his life. He will share with
us the controversies and miracles he stumbled upon.
Hayden is definitely person. He
is still a miracle in the making.
