My HTC Experience

5:14 PM

T’was the night before Christmas.  I was just contemplating at the same time searching for some gadgets at www.BIZCHUM.com.

And I had an amazing holiday feeling that Santa would bring me something I wished and needed very much. True to my prayerful expectations, Santa did leave an HTC cellular phone especially for me. I was jumping with joy as I unwrapped the orange box with an “HTC one” written on its lid beside a colored image of my new mobile phone.

However, for some reasons I could not remember at the moment, I felt then Santa missed to leave something equally important for me. Maybe, I would remember it in a little while.

Right on track, as directed, I immediately charged my new mobile phone with the battery that came with the box, complete with a manual on how to go ahead and enjoy this tiny piece of cyber tool believed to make the world within reach in seconds.

Following the manual’s directions, I began to slide my finger right to left as well as top to bottom, and vice-versa to unload what the manual mentioned as “Apps,” as well as to establish my name as the official owner of the mobile phone.

But, the tiny tool proved to be super-sensitive that icons kept on flying, if not disappearing as quickly as it could as soon as it felt any of my fingers about to touch any single key.

Then I decided to dial a number not only to show-off my latest possession, but to find out how it would work. I was not able to connect. Instead, there was a stream of directions from inside the phone which became harder to follow.

It was only then that I realized, I had spent hours trying to introduce myself to my mobile tool. Surprisingly, I both found the countless hours trying to learn how to use it, both enjoying and stimulating.

Almost a month has passed after I received this amazing gift, and I am still on pre-school mode, but continue to enjoy every new discovery I make like receiving the latest from CNN and other breaking news from news organizations all over the world, as well as keeping me at pace with what’s happening not only in Washington, but who is sleeping with whom in Hollywood, without even knowing how I did it.

In other words, I am now beginning to be connected to the world in a juvenile way, and having a great time via this ultra-thin HTC mobile phone, by chance most of the time.
Now, I remember what I had forgotten earlier about what Santa could have missed on the night before Christmas.

He forgot teaching me the ABC’s on how to enjoy to the max his Christmas gift, ASAP.
